Beatservice Records arrive with their latest beguiling sonic instalment, presenting the gloriously offbeat 'This Is Your Home' from Oslo-based four-piece, Legs 11.

Formed of mischievous players Sigmund Floyd, Torstein Dyrnes, Nils Tveten, and Audun Severin Eftevåg, Legs 11 have been enlivening the Beatservice roster with their uncommonly imaginative soundscapes since making their label debut back in 2016. Fusing a disparate blend of esoteric sounds – including synth-pop, post-punk, new wave and house – the quartet journey from the darkest depths into pop-infused starlit skies, taking in all-manner of mind-altering dalliances in between. Fans of the group will know to expect the unexpected, and so it proves the case on their latest captivating cut.

Delightfully deviant and proudly unique, 'This Is Your Home' sees sleazy vocals soar across an alien landscape. Distorted toms drive the groove as mysterious swirls and metallic textures fizz across the off-world horizon. Growling bass arrives alongside a searing sax lead as the endlessly-morphing rhythm undulates and evolves. Bursting with personality, the aberrant flavours presented here leave us gasping for breath and restless to hear more from this intriguing production force.

The gloriously infectious track is the first to be lifted from Legs 11's long-awaited third album, 'Welcome Home'. With a further single due to arrive before the LP's November release date, thankfully we won't have to wait too long to hear more from this enthralling production outfit.
